Blackpool Sign CJ Hamilton From Mansfield
Mansfield Town winger CJ Hamilton has completed a move to League One side Blackpool.
The 25-year-old joins the Seasiders for an undisclosed fee, penning a three-year deal at Bloomfield Road.
He becomes Neil Critchley’s fourth signing this summer, with Marvin Ekpiteta, Oliver Sarkic and Jerry Yates joining earlier in the window.
Critchley, who became Blackpool’s manager back in March, spoke highly of his new addition to the squad: “His speed is a tremendous asset in the attacking third of the pitch and he is extremely versatile. He is someone who I’m really looking forward to working with and developing further.
“With the addition of CJ, I feel we are making good progress at this early stage of the season and I’m looking forward to seeing how this group of players develop in the coming weeks and months.”
Hamilton, who made 142 appearances for Mansfield and scored 15 goals, looks forward to the new challenge of League One: “After speaking to Neil Critchley, I knew I wanted to come to Blackpool,”
