Elliot Watt joins Bradford City

Scotland Under-21 international Elliot Watt has signed for League Two side Bradford City from Wolves.

The 20-year-old midfielder has joined for an undisclosed fee on a two-year deal, becoming the fifth player to make the move to Valley Parade this summer.

Watt played only once for Wolves in the Carabao Cup in 2018/19 and was loaned out to Carlisle United this year where he made 14 appearances in all competitions and scored one goal before the season was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Bantams boss Stuart McCall told the club website: “Elliot is a player I have had my eye on for quite a while now.

“He is very hungry and wants to get out and make his mark. He is a really technically gifted ball player who has international experience at youth level with Scotland.

“Even though he still had another year left on his contract, Wolves were happy to let him get out and play football and we have high hopes for him”.
